The Needlers ministry formerly met twice a month with 6-12 active members, but was COVID-suspended March 2020, and has not yet resumed organized meetings. Some former active members have been working on items at home. Please "stay tuned" for new time and dates.
All attenders and visitors in our congregation are welcome to join the COTM Needlers. If you have an interest in needlework, please contact Heather Ceasar (head usher) on Sunday, or call the office on a Friday morning.
During the past couple of years, the COTM Needlers made and distributed:
- Hats and a poncho for Navajo children
- Baby-bundles for the Navajo community; and for a local mother in need
- Hats and a head-band for the VA in Apache Junction
- Clothing donations delivered to the New Leaf Men's Shelter and the House of Refuge Gifts in December to several nursing homes consisting of: lap robes, small afghans, hats, scarves, Christmas stockings, and bags containing: a calendar, Kleenex, cards, a book, and fruit.
